the last of us on hbo: here’s your first two episodes, full of the TERROR of humanity!! infected!! corrupt government!! marshal law!! senseless killing!!
us: ah
the last of us on hbo: and now for your third episode. the gut wrenching love story between two men who found each other at the end of the world and became so entangled in one another that when time finally wore them away, they left together. also on the nature of daylight plays over their last day together
craig mazin the absolute fucking madman really said i’m gonna write the greatest love story ever told into the third episode of this zombie apocalypse show
Literally nothing will ever be as satisfying as the 4 minute long fight sequence in Kingsman: The Secret Service, in which Colin Firth mercilessly wastes an entire Westboro Basptist Church like congregation as the guitar solo from Lynard Skynard’s 1973 anthem Freebird plays in the background.
Now here’s the thing, of course Dean was gonna die in a random fight. Its always been the way he wanted to go out, and it was pretty much his ending since the beginning of the show.
But why the FuCk would you set it up for (what they make it seem like) DAYS after the “apocalypse”, send him to heaven WITHOUT Castiel, and blur Sam’s wife’s face????? Like, those few key differences could’ve made the series finale 1000% improved
